Kids Bedroom Organization at its Finest!
I chose to feature this kid's bedroom design for many reasons.
- Open and Closed Cubbies: The first impressive thing is the open and covered cubbies that take up the entire left wall. Those cubbies are ideal for keeping books, toys and other important kid things easily accessible, plus the cubbies go almost to the ceiling to offer tons of storage space.
- High Wall Shelf: Above the cubbies, near the ceiling you can see a shelf that holds a train set. That's a unique and cool idea, but I'd recommend creating a close-to-ceiling shelf to hold trophies, stuffed animals and other things that your kid wants to display. If your child has a bunk bed this shelf can also be continued all the way around the room and over the bed to give your child space for keeping an alarm clock, tissues, reading lamp and favorite books that he can reach from the top bunk.
- Corner Desk: All kids need a desk for doing homework, surfing the web or creating arts and crafts. If you put a kids desk in the corner it takes up less space, but offers just as much storage. This is a great idea for a kid's bedroom.
- Window Storage Bench: The space under a window is rarely utilized, but adding a window storage bench is a wonderful way to add more storage to a kid's bedroom and comfort as well. Top the bench with a comfy cushion and your kid will love his new reading seat and he'll also adore the storage space below for keeping his favorite books in close range.
If you are designing your kid's bedroom and wish to create a space like the one above we can definitely help. We offer every type of storage piece you will require in all sorts of styles and colors, so you can create a kid's bedroom that suits all your child's needs.
