Decorating a kids room is always so much fun! Kids usually have such exciting, colorful and creative taste, so it makes choosing items to fill the room an inspiring activity for everyone involved. As you begin to pull together all the elements of your kids room, or when it's time for a change or upgrade, be sure to consider how lighting plays a part in the overall look, feel and functionality of your kids bedroom.

Floor lamps provide the kind of functionality that lies somewhere in between bright chandeliers and low light table lamps. The floor lamp can be a great addition to a corner of the room. These are great for adding a colorful or creative element to a kids room. Some floor lamps can be turned on near the bulb while others have a floor switch you can simply step on with your foot.
